Corona Las Vegas
Las Vegas in the Age of the Corona Virus.
The Strip is empty, the casinos are closed and the Fremont Experience is dark. Las Vegas, the city that never sleeps, feels like a ghost town. A little virus turned this world upside down and introduced us to a new life with social distancing, face masks and the unexplained need to stock pile toilet paper.
An entire generation of kids has now been introduced to home schooling and the class of 2020 has been robbed of their high school prom and graduation experience. We learned that some jobs are more essential than others and healthcare providers have (finally!) achieved the hero status our society had overlooked for so long.
Life will change, that much is clear. What these changes will bring, only time will tell. Who knows, maybe social distancing will eventually bring us closer together again…
